How does it Work:
1. Load a 3D model in either STEP, IGES, VDA or Parasolid.
2. Set the origin and reference axes then load a 3D Model of your CMM Machine.
3. PAS CMM will now Automatically find all features of the 3D Model.
4. PAS CMM then calculates the best probe orientations, labels and stores each feature, sorted by type and probe angle.
4. User selects the probe(s) to be used and tolerances
5. PAS will Automatically Inspect all, or just selected Features on the 3D Model, Multi-Directionally.
6. PAS can Automatically Align your Part, or allow manual alignment.
7. Your DMI program file is now ready to be Imported into your CMM Machine.
PAS CMM can show a full simulation showing the probe and the part, together with your CMM machine. It also has the option to add construction planes, geometry, bubble dimensions, labels and geometric tolerances .These will then automatically appear in the inspection report, which makes it easier to read and ideal for F.A.I.R’s. PAS CMM is a fully automated CMM Programming software which ensures the quality of the process.
